Gavin Browning co-edited Urban China Bootlegged for Volume by C-Lab — a “bootleg” edition of the magazine Urban China — featuring Lucia Allais, Martha Rosler, David Gissen, Manuel Herz, Keller Easterling, Cory Booker, Eyal Weizman, Mark Wigley, and many others.
Produced in 2009 on the occassion of the touring exhibition Urban China: Informal Cities at the New Museum (New York), the Hammer Museum (Los Angles), and the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.
